Room decoration tips
"When decorating a room, try to avoid the urge to slavishly make
everything 'match'.
Stay away from matching curtains, wall friezes, manchester etc - they can make a space look tacky, too heavy, predictable and small, and generally rob the room of any character.
Instead, link objects by colour or theme and add personality with interesting shapes, objects, textures and colours.
Go for the "wow effect" - Children's rooms should be special and reflect the child's personality. Art is a great way to bring colour and personality to a child's special space.
Some of our customers use our unique art to give their child a 'friend' who they can make stories about, or name, or even talk to if they are afraid of the dark.
Colours can be stimulating or soothing depending on the theme of the room and the age of the child. Choosing from the dozens of colour choices and hundreds of characters can be a special decision in a family's process of putting their child's room together.
Many of our customers are excited when they find out they are expecting as it gives them an excuse to express themselves through our range of artwork and create a gorgeous space for their new baby.
We are honoured that our artwork is considered special enough to be placed in such an intimate place as child's bedroom, and that it grows with them; is part of their life and contributes to their appreciation of original art."
